Penny is a graduate of Richland Community College, with a degree as a Teaching Assistant (2016). She began her Pet Sitting business, Penny's Pet Care in November 2014, while earning a college degree and working part-time cleaning offices. In November 2015, her Beagle was diagnosed with Glaucoma and Lens Subluxation( dislocation), which caused Phoenix to be on a medicine routine 4 times daily. As of today (July 11,2019), he is still taking medicine, still has limited vision, and has regular eye exams. Penny is very comfortable and confident in applying eye drops to dogs.
Her other Beagle, an 11 year old( Tango) has Cushings syndrome, and Penny's 5 year old Beagle has had many GI issues. Penny is quite experienced with Canine illnesses!
