Working with animals, especially those with special needs and unique circumstances, is what I was born to do. I specialize in high-energy animals, geriatric care, multi-pet households, and the lovable "weirdos" that make our lives so interesting - and capturing the goofiest possible pictures of them! I love playing and joining in on zoomies with the active furbabies, and snuggling up with the quieter ones.
In just the last 10 years or so, I've gained diverse experience working with animals:
-Veterinary technician in small animal hospitals
-High-end boarding kennels
-Local animal rescues
-Farm internships (horses, goats, chickens, cows)
-Dog training apprenticeship
-Partial completion of a veterinary medicine degree
As a result, I'm well-versed in handling various special needs and conditions such as diabetes, amputees, FIV, food allergies, managed heart disease, "surprise murder mode" kitties, you name it! I am also insured, so your pets are double covered.
I am available from 7:30am - 8:00pm, 7 days a week. I'm flexible and able to accommodate most requests. If I'm not available at your specific time, I can generally be available about an hour earlier or later.
*New clients: 4 or more pets requires at least one visit of 60 minutes each day to ensure they each get the attention they need.
Some visits may have an additional surcharge (such as injectable medication, high risk pets, visits outside of normal service hours or radius, etc.), which is determined on a case-by-case basis. This typically adds $1-5/visit for drop-ins, or a flat rate for sitting. Not sure if your situation falls into this? Just ask! I am happy to work with you to find a solution that satisfies everyone, so that you can be sure your pets get the experienced and loving care they deserve.
Your pets are cared for as if they're my own, but with the comforts of their own home and routines. My motto is "home for your pet, for when you're not"!
