Hi! I've been working in the veterinary field with small animals and exotics for over 20 years and have been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2001. I specialize in medical pet care services and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, skunks, ferrets, reptiles, pocket pets and more! Currently I'm working part time in the veterinary hospital setting, but really would prefer to be doing more to help clients with their pets at home. The vet hospital can be very stressful for both owners and their pets, and I'm pleased to help treat your pets at home, or just to provide comfort while you are away. I do not offer overnight services, but will do drop-in visits, or daytime sitting by the hour. Some of the medical services I provide are: oral, injectable, and aerosolized medication administration, SQ fluids, assist feeding, post-surgical home care, ear cleaning and medicating, tooth brushing, and basic grooming services like bathing, nail trims and anal gland expression. Other non-medical services include playtime, dog walking with positive reinforcement of your training cues (Certified Professional Dog Walker through Dog*Biz Dog Walker's Academy), hourly sitting for pets with separation anxiety, pet waste cleanup/litterbox scooping, pet transportation to/from vet hospital. I am certified in small animal First Aid and CPR in case of emergencies, but please remember I'm not a Veterinarian and cannot diagnose your pet or prescribe any medications. I can only assist you at home with medications or perform treatments prescribed by your veterinarian. Also, while I am a Certified Dog Walker, I'm not a Certified Dog Trainer and cannot ethically offer training advice. Thanks!!
