Hi, I'm Angela Corley! I grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from University of Texas at Austin. Since graduating from UT my career has mostly been focused in Marketing & Business Development for the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
I adopted a kitten from a local cat rescue and was so enamored by what a great thing they were doing I promptly decided to volunteer. Although I have owned and loved animals all of my life I had no idea that there was such a thing as pet rescue. I certainly never thought I would learn as much as I have through this experience. Within a year, a few other women and I formed our own non-profit organization and began operating as New Beginnings Cat Rescue. Today I am the President of our rescue and am very thankful for all of our volunteers and our success in finding homes for these deserving kitties (and a few dogs). I wanted to apply all of the knowledge and experience I have obtained over the years and pet sitting seemed like a natural fit.
In addition to my fostering experience with New Beginnings Cat Rescue, I have volunteered at a veterinarian’s offices and a low cost spay/neuter clinic, am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, have worked with special needs pets, managed a feral cat colony in Dallas, and interned as a Veterinary Social Worker at a Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital . I am a responsible, dedicated and passionate person who will be looking after your pet as if it were my own. Thank you for considering Whisker Watchers Pet Sitting.
