What We Love To DoDog Walking Pooper Scooping Pet Transporting
I am a full time, independently insured, professional pet care provider specializing in the care of reactive and fearful dogs. I have a strong background in dog rescue as my parents fostered puppy mill dogs throughout my entire childhood, and as an adult I continued volunteering as a transporter. I am not a trainer, but my unique upbringing has given me the skills necessary to keep fearful and aggressive dogs safe -- so now, as a dog walker, I specialize in reactive and special needs pups. It can be difficult to manage a dog's energy when they aren't social with other dogs or strangers, and finding a calm and patient handler that can identify limits and manage potential triggers can be just as hard. I have a passion for giving these dogs the enrichment and exercise they need while keeping them and everyone around them safe and comfortable. I have a go-to behaviorist and am studying canine behavior through the IAABC in pursuance of a career as a behavior consultant.
My life with rescue dogs has also exposed me to various medical conditions. I am comfortable administering insulin, getting picky pups to take pills, and changing bandages (or helping you do any of the above), and I also have a variety of tricks up my sleeve to keep dogs occupied and content during surgical recovery. Deaf, blind, and "fewer-limbed" dogs are also welcome on my schedule!
Walk prices start at $16 for 30 minutes, $20 for 60. Bulk rates available for five or more walks per week, multiple dog rates also available.
