About Us

Hello! All pets welcome!

I am Gabriella D, the owner and the sole employee of Brighter Days Pet Sitting LLC.

I provide overnight petsitting with housesitting service and drop in visits for cats. In addition to pet care, I will bring in mail/packages, water indoor plants and take out trash/recycling.

I have met hundreds of pets and families over a lifetime of experience and am confident in taking on anything that comes my way! I accept dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds. I am also experienced in caring for exotic pets such as small mammals, reptiles, birds and fish.

I am skilled at administering oral and injectable medications as well as with accommodating special needs and elder pets. I have cared for diabetic, deaf and blind dogs and cats and am able to care for multiple animals at once.

TRUST AND SAFETY

Our animals are more than just pets, they're family! That's why your pets' happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I carry a people and pet friendly first aid kit with me to all services. I am dog / cat CPR and Heimlich maneuver certified. I also fit all dogs and cats with air tag collars with my company name (Brighter Days Pet Sitting) and personal phone number for extra peace of mind!

For first time bookings, I will propose a meet and greet to go over everything. It is also ideal for your pets to meet me before the service so they remember who I am for next time :)

I strive to provide the best care possible for your pet in the kind, calm, nurturing environment of your home.

A TYPICAL DAY

I always send photos and a written update of your pets activities at the end of the day. I hang out with pets in the common area, bedroom or outside when the weather is nice. Your pet and I will relax, work on homework, listen to music, podcasts and watch movies together. All in the peace and comfort of your own home!

Housesitting - How much time will I spend with your pet? In general, 16-24 hours a day!

SPECIFICALLY . . .
Fri, Sat, Sun, Wed: at least 20 hours a day
Tues, Thurs: at least 18 hours a day
Mon: at least 16 hours a day

That’s an average of at least 18.85 hours a day of professional loving care and attention for your pet!

SERVICE AND RATES

I am currently booking services up to 12 months in advance. Reserve your dates today!

Overnight house sitting (in your home)
First dog/cat $110 per night
Each additional dog + $75 per night
Each additional cat + $45 per night (cats #4+ free)
Each exotic pet + $TBD a night

Drop in visits (cats only)
30 minute visit first cat $35 per visit
Each additional cat +$15 per visit (cats #4+ free)

TERMS OF SERVICE

- Payment is due in full before service may be provided.
Payments are processed through Zell, Venmo, PayPal or Cash App (cash only accepted as tips)

- Cancellation policy: Seven days
A full refund is available if service is cancelled before 12:00am seven days before the service begins. No refund is available if service is cancelled at or after 12:00am seven days before the service begins.

- Sitter may be outside of home during the booking;
Mondays 4:30pm-7:10pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays 3pm-4:15pm
Nightly 10pm-2am

- No people in the home during the booking.
Client/sitter; friends, family, roommates, maintenance staff, cleaners, etc.

- Indoor cats only.
Cats must stay inside the home during the booking, outdoor cat doors must be locked or blocked.

- All dogs/cats in the household must wear a sitter provided air tag collar during the booking.

- Dog potty breaks occur no more than every 4 hours.

- Maximum of three 15 minute walks a day.
Excluding potty breaks, including all pets.

- Dogs must wear a harness during walks.
Sitter may provide harness if needed.

- Walks occur during sunlit hours only.
Excluding potty breaks, sunrise / sunset hours vary by season.

- Outdoor cameras only.

- Communication.
All communication is documented via text, email or recorded phone call.
