About Us

My name is Meg and I have Five years of experience with " In House" Sitting for Pets and House Sitting. I prefer to do sitting with Pets in their home because I believe it is the least stressful way on the Pet and the Owners. There is some one present most of the day and all night. If something happens, like your pet gets sick. Your pet isn't alone for hours, proper care would be taken a lot sooner.
I once was House sitting and the water heater broke, since I was there I could immediately t call who the Owners said to take care of it.

Most all of my life I have been around animals. I grew up on a farm which had many different animals. When I left to live on my own I had my own pets. Often I was asked to sit for some ones cat or dog or go stay at a coworkers house while they were out of town. My point being I have had many years where I took care of pets and houses so I have had many different experiences.

Five years ago I decided to do Pet and House Sitting as a part-time job and to have the majority of my business be "In House" Sitting. I found in my experiences people who
told me they found it was stressful for their pet(s) to take them some where else and they didn't feel good leaving them and knowing they would be alone a lot. Then there was the dreaded chasing of their pet(s) to get them in the carrier. That is how I went from going to houses to feed, walk and play with pets to staying at the house the whole time the Owners were gone. The statement I continue to hear is" we feel more relaxed because we know our pet and house are in good hands". I feel good too because I want any Pet I take care of to be happy, have fun and be one contented Bunny, Cat, Dog, Bird or whatever I have been caring for. I am so grateful for animals!
