With over a decade of experience in animal care including in-home pet sitting, veterinary nursing, medical and behavioral fostering, shelter work, and animal training and behavior modification, your pets are in good hands and will be cared for with respect and compassion. I am insured through Pet Sitters Associates, annually renew training in pet CPR, first aid, and basic safety, and am a member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) and International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).
All pet care is rooted in positive reinforcement, and is force-free and fear-free meaning I do not use any aversives (including, but not limited to: prong collars, choke collars, chains, spray bottles, “beep” or shock collars, physical force, etc.). For the best care, both myself and your pet need to feel safe, and this standard will be upheld at all times.
