RELIABLE, LOVING PET CARE: I know the feeling of never wanting to leave your fur baby behind. Wherever I went, if I couldn’t take my pets with me, then I would rather not go at all. But sometimes when work calls or when you simply need a little “me” time, we need some help from someone we can trust to love and care for our pets while we’re away. I would love to be that person for you!
My pet care experience comes from 8+ years of animal care and handling experience, which includes: working with shelter animals, caring for stray cats, fostering cats and dogs, and loving my own beloved pets (My two dogs that have since passed - Terri, 18, Maple, 12, and cat - August, 4).
I’m fear-free certified and familiar with caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs (especially cushings, CHF, CCD). I can help with giving oral medications and am open to assisting with other needs if you’re willing to teach. If your pet knows basic commands, I love working with owners on positive reinforcement. In addition to my experience above, I was also featured on NY1’s New Yorker of the week segment for my volunteer work at Animal Haven, an animal shelter based in Manhattan.
