Animals are, and always have been, my passion in life. From the day that I was a born until today, there has always been at least one pet in our household. It was this love of animals that led me to pursue a career in the field of veterinary medicine as a Pennsylvania state-licensed veterinary nurse. I was employed for almost fifteen years at an animal hospital that treated cats and dogs exclusively, and, during that time, I also was employed on a part-time basis at an emergency veterinary hospital on weekends for ten years. I feel that my veterinary background enables me to perform additional tasks that most pet sitters are not in a position to offer. In addition to providing your pet the basics of food, water, and companionship. Depending upon the temperament of your pet, I can also administer medications, whether in oral or injectable form, and may be able to provide treatments recommended by your veterinarian.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I am no longer able to provide overnight pet care or vacation coverage for dogs. I am, however, still able to provide daytime potty breaks for dogs while pet parents are at work and vacation coverage for cats.
