Hi - I'm Kim!
I have experience with both dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs, but have three cats of my own. I have extensive experience with behavioral quirks with cats as well as medication management (e.g. inhaler, diabetes injections, fluid and pills). I am comfortable medicating animals who need daily medications, and am comfortable with pets who have special needs. I deeply care about all animals and want to make your pet(s) feel like they are the king/queen of the castle! Because I have my own cats, I will not board animals.
I am privately insured via Pet Sitters Associates, in addition to the Rover Guarantee, so your babies are well covered! Safety and trust are #1 for me - both for your animal(s) and for myself. Leashed walks are a must. Every detail is important to know when caring for your pet, to medication use, time of day they eat or go potty, etc. I want to stick to their routine as much as possible.
Overcommunication is preferable for me. Every detail matters. It is important for me to know what the regular routine is for the animal so that I can stay as close to that as possible. Medication instructions, veterinarian and emergency contact information, etc are vital for me to know. Favorite toys, treats and walk routes are a bonus, too!
