I have had a lifelong passion for animals, and my home has always included pets—cats, dogs, ferrets, small mammals, and even the occasional wildlife rescue. In the 1990s, I also rescued two injured baby raccoons, plus a possum or two. I volunteered in a seabird sanctuary in Florida. These experiences deepened my respect for proper wildlife and animal care.
In the mid-1990s, I founded a professional pet-sitting business in Largo, Florida, where I served more than 200 clients and cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, small birds, freshwater fish, ferrets, and even a horse. During that time, I also worked part-time as an assistant at Largo Veterinary Hospital. That role provided valuable hands-on experience with animal health, behavior, and medication administration. Over the course of five years, I developed the skills and confidence needed to offer dependable, compassionate, and knowledgeable care to pets whose owners were working or traveling.
My services included daily dog-walking, in-home pet-sitting visits, and extended overnight or round-the-clock house and pet-sitting. These years established a strong foundation in responsible home care, attention to detail, and responsive communication with pet owners.
I have lived in the Pacific Northwest since 2005. During my time here, I have volunteered with Oregon Humane Society and the SW WA Human Society. After pursuing other professional paths for many years, I am now semi-retired and have joyfully returned to my original calling: providing trustworthy support to pets and homes when their people cannot be there.
**Current Services**
1. **Daily Dog Walking**
2. **In-Home Pet Sitting** – Multiple visits per day between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
3. **Round-the-Clock In-Home Pet and House Sitting**
4. **Errand Services** – Including grocery shopping, pet transportation, pick-ups/drop-offs, and general delivery services
