About Us

Hi! I’m Kirsten, owner of Coastal Tails Pet Care in Wilmington. I offer dependable, one-on-one pet care for owners who want the peace of mind of knowing their pets — and their home — are in responsible, caring hands.

I offer dog walking, drop-in pet visits, and overnight pet sitting in your home, with a special focus on evening, weekend, and overnight availability. I’m insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates.

I’m an active, outdoorsy person and a genuine animal lover. I previously had two large dogs of my own for six years and have also spent a great deal of time with my parents’ dogs, whom I adore. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, pet sitting gives me the opportunity to have animals in my life while providing a service that genuinely helps other pet owners.

Services include:
• 30- and 60-minute dog walks
• Drop-in pet visits
• Evening and weekend care
• Overnight pet sitting in your home

Most importantly, I believe caring for an animal means far more than simply feeding them and checking off a walk. Pets deserve affection, attention, patience, companionship, and to feel safe and cared for while their person is away.

Having had dogs of my own, I know how much trust it takes to leave an animal you love in someone else’s care. I want to give your pet the same affection, attention, patience, and care I would want for my own.

My goal is for you to have peace of mind while you’re away — and for your pet to have someone who is genuinely happy to be there with them.
