Happy Snoot Pet Care is based in Charlottesville, Virginia, and serves both the city and the surrounding region. It is owned and operated by Emily Schreffler, who has nearly a decade of experience as a kennel technician, veterinary assistant, dog walker, and pet sitter. Emily is dedicated to providing professional and compassionate care to her animal clients and a sense of security for their humans.
Emily provides pet care services for dogs, cats, and small animals. Services include:
- Dog walking
- Drop-in visits for meals and socialization
- Short and long-term house sitting
- Nail trims and basic grooming
- Medication administration
After working with pets in various professional contexts, Emily created Happy Snoot Pet Care so that she could dedicate herself full-time to providing the highest quality individualized care to animals. Having seen firsthand the stressful environment of a kennel, Emily firmly believes that most animals are best provided for in their own homes. Whether making a quick drop-in visit or pet sitting for multiple weeks, Emily’s goal is the same: to provide the level of care she would want for her own dog and two cats if they were under another person's care.
