My name is Lauren and I am located in Matawan, New Jersey. I grew up with dogs and currently have a 12 year old Bijon Frise named Mikey. My first family dog was a yorkie poodle mix named Speck and in her older age she was diagnosed with diabetes. My family and I all took shifts monitoring her insulin levels and administering her daily insulin injections. Throughout the years I've also been trusted by family and friends to watch their dogs which has included large and small breeds.
After going through some life transitions I found that dog sitting suited me and in 2019 began taking on clients and everything has gone from there!
In addition I volunteer for a dog rescue called Castle of Dreams in Cliffwood, New Jersey where I have been caring for dogs while they are waiting for placement in a foster or forever home. This has included a female German Shepard with epilepsy where I administered her medication, kept her safe if seizures occurred while in my care and communicated with other volunteers to assure the best plan of action to assure her well being.
