Specialist in cat care at your home when you're travelling
My name is Ann and I'm a cat parent and faculty at the University of Illinois. Since I travel during the semester, I'm often enjoying Champaign during the typical busy travel seasons. I've been more actively dropping in to entertain, medicate, feed, and clean for local cats in the past 5 years. I’ve enjoyed taking care of cats for my neighbours since I was a kid, but I deepened my connection when I adopted my own cat who was so shy he hid for 6 weeks. Now, my kitty is very social with me and does well with visitors. This has given me practice to be specialized in anxious and elderly kitties that need a calm presence to feel at ease. On the flip side, I’ve been successful with rambunctious kitties to let me trim their claws, administer oral meds, insulin, glucose monitoring, and subcutaneous fluids if needed for the little one. I am Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid Certified and personally insured by Pet Sitters Associates.
