I no longer do sits at the client's home. I am now strictly a Boarder/Daycare provider at my home. I provide this care for dogs, parrots, and caged exotics.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide care for cats at this time.
Home-based dog boarding and daycare is considered at a higher elevation than a kennel, or even a pet resort. For one thing, clients are not expected to pay an extra fee to have their own pet's food fed to them, during their stay. Nor will our guests be confined to a run, crate, or cage all day.
And this is certainly true when you bring your dog to my home.
Again - a kennel/resort charges an extra fee to give their guests "out time" and individual attention. We feel that is a given and not considered something "extra." Home-based MEANS home-based. While our guests are at our home they can expect to have free-range as if they were in their own home.
