Having lived on the Eastside for the past 26 years, I?ve worked for businesses ranging from high tech and healthcare to non-profit and real estate.
Now I am an independent contractor and business owner which allows me to choose when and how I spend my time. Creating balance and harmony in everything I do is essential to my well-being and to those around me. So, I took a few weeks off (okay, 6 to be exact) and had an epic road trip with my dog, Rumi. We drove through some amazing national parks, took some hikes and lots of naps, AND pictures, and did a little couch-surfing with friends and family along the way. Vacations are awesome! I highly recommend them.
However, if you?re not able to bring your furry family with you, I?m here to help! As a pet parent, I know how important it is to find the right person who will care for your pet the way you do. Taking the time to get well acquainted and learn your routine should make for a successful sit.
I?ve been reading about dog behavior and communication between dogs and humans. Several of my favorite trainer/authors are Brandon McMillan and Victoria Stilwell.
FUN FACT: Did you know that dogs have over 250 million receptors in their nose? Humans have around 5 million. That explains a lot!
