Hello, my name is Jennifer. I’ve lived in Polk County most of my life and have worked in the animal field for over 30 years. My daughter and I share a home and have a house full of critters…a hound/pit mix, a cat, fish, an arachnid, and several reptiles. I started my career, in my teens, as a working student on horse farms. I soon began working as a veterinary assistant while studying animal science. A few years later I felt led to accept a job at local humane society due to my desire to help homeless and abandoned animals. I took courses in dog behavior, and training, during my employment there. I eventually started a lucrative pet sitting service while working as a part time assistant for a local groomer. I closed my business when my daughter was born,to be a stay at home mom, in her formative years. I returned to my passion of veterinary medicine and have been in the field, working as a veterinary technician, for the past 16 years. I am meticulous, mindful, and take pride in going above and beyond. I serve Polk County and surrounding areas. Look forward to meeting you and your pet family!
