I was a world language teacher for 23 years before pursuing my other passion--helping cats. I have been a professional cat sitter for just shy of 10 years and can administer medications, including insulin and subcutaneous fluids. I grew up with English Setters and love dogs, but I became a cat fanatic as an adult. My life has been blessed by the presence of 15 amazing felines over the last 37 years. In addition to my experience taking care of my own cats and those of my clients, I volunteered at SAFE Haven for Cats Shelter near my home for 8 years and worked there as an Assistant Cat Care Associate right before the pandemic hit. In order to be of even greater service to cats, I became an energy healer for animals. I was trained in Healing Touch for Animals by the program's founder, Carol Komitor, and have added to my skills through experience and study over time. Energy therapy can speed animals' healing from illness and injury and can improve their emotional health and behavior without medication.
