About Us
At Connie’s Cottage Dog Care, we believe in truly connecting with your dog—both emotionally and physically—to provide the love and care they deserve. After five amazing years in business, I can confidently say this has been the best decision of my life. Caring for animals is my true calling, and it has grown into a family business! My sister and mom now help part-time as our pack continues to grow.

Inspired by my grandmother Connie’s deep love for animals, I strive to care for every pet with the same heart and dedication I give to my own dog, Dakota Rose—an 8-year-old black lab and the soul of this cottage.

Service Areas
We proudly serve the following areas in Washington:

Steilacoom, Dupont, University Place, Lakewood, South Tacoma, Fircrest, Spanaway, Tillicum, Parkland, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM).

Services & Rates
Dog Care
30-minute walk – $22 (Two dogs: $32)

60-minute walk – $38 (Two dogs: $49)

Drop-in visit (30 min playtime) – $25

Daycare – $40 (Two dogs: $70)

Boarding – $60 per day (Two dogs: $90)

Boarding for dogs requiring separation – $80 per day

In-client dog/house sitting – $105 per day (Two dogs: $130)

Note: Boarding is valued at $140/day and in-home care at $215/day due to included walks.

Additional Fees
$10 per dog for puppies under 1 year, senior dogs over 10 years, or XL dogs (60+ lbs)

$10 for pick-up/drop-off

$15 for care exceeding 8 hours or for unaltered dogs

Trial Day Requirement
A trial day is required for:

All dogs staying more than 3 days

Any new dog attending daycare on an extended basis

This ensures your dog is a great fit for our environment and receives the best care possible.

Cat Care
30 minutes of active playtime – $15

Drop-ins available for multiple days

Qualifications
I am:

CPR & Pet First Aid Certified

Trained in de-escalation tactics

Experienced in administering all types of medications

Comfortable working with all breeds, ages, and temperaments

Your pet will enjoy daily enrichment, exercise, and plenty of love—including trips to local parks and dog parks!
